The theme for this week for the model is how close the over/unders are. Every game except for 3 has a prediction in a range that is more or less “too close to call”. 9 of the spread picks are in the same range as well.
ATL @ CAR (-2.5) (49)
Both teams are coming off close losses last week. In this one the model likes CAR to win by 3 and the OVER.
IND (-3) @ DET (50)
Colts are coming off a bye and the Lions pulled off a close win last week against the Falcons. The model likes IND to cover and the UNDER.
MIN @ GB (-6.5) (54.5)
The Vikings are coming off a bye but looking like they’re falling apart. The Packers won big last week to bounce back off their first loss of the year. The Model likes MIN to cover and the UNDER.
NE @ BUF (-3.5) (43)
Two teams that are struggling mightily. The Patriots benched Cam Newton last week and have maxed out at 12 points in their last 3 games. The Bills have also failed to hit 20 in their last 3 and allowed the Jets to get their first cover of the year last week. The model has NE covering (by half a point) and the UNDER in one of the 3 games the model has confidence in.
TEN (-6) @ CIN (54.5)
The Titans finally lost their first game of the year last week. The Bengals are 1-5-1, but have kept it close in most of their games this year. The model likes TEN to cover and the UNDER.
LV @ CLE (-3) (53.5)
The Raiders continue to be a favorite of the model. LV to win outright and the UNDER.
NYJ @ KC (-19.5) (48.5)
Oof. I don’t even know what to say here. KC to cover and the OVER. And not thanks to the Jets.
LAR (-4.5) @ MIA (46)
This is one of the favorite’s of the model this week. LAR to win by 2 scores and the OVER with some confidence.
NO (-4) @ CHI (44)
The Bears looked REALLY bad on Monday. New Orleans has also been struggling without Michael Thomas but they are still eeking out wins. NO to cover and the UNDER.
SF @ SEA (-3) (54)
Seattle lost a heartbreaker last week in their first loss of the year. The 49ers have won 2 in a row and are starting to get healthy. SF to cover and the OVER.
DAL @ PHI (-3.5) (43.5)
Back to back NFC Least battles for each of these teams. DAL to cover and the OVER. Just like previous weeks, its important to note that there is still some Dak baked into Dallas’ stats.
LAC (-3) @ DEN (44)
Herbert finally picked up his first win last week against the Jags. The Broncos got demolished by the Chiefs last week. DEN to bounce back and win outright and the UNDER.
PIT @ BAL (-3.5) (46.5)
This is the matchup of the week in my biased opinion. The Steelers are the last undefeated team in the league and the Ravens’ only loss is to the Chiefs. PIT to cover and the UNDER.
TB (-10.5) @ NYG (46)
An exciting Monday Night Football game? I don’t think so. NYG to cover by half a point and the OVER.
