Colorado State Over 4.5 Wins -120 on Fox Bet

Colorado State will be under their second season with Steve Addazio, who previously coached at Boston College. The Rams went 1-3 last season with several canceled games and look to come out strong in their 2021 campaign.

The Rams will look to run a balanced attack with a two TE set a majority of the time as their base offense. This will work well this season as Todd Centeio still needs to prove himself as a passing QB. But he will provide a threat with his feet and will also have a solid run game to rely on.

Seniors Todd Bailey and Marcus McElroy will provide a solid 1-2 punch at the running back position. Bailey is a transfer from Boston College who has a similar style and look to A.J Dillon. McElroy returns from last season and the Rams also have a few more transfers from BC on their offensive line set to play this season. Trey McBride will be Centeio’s number one target this year at the TE position and the number one rated tight end in the 2022 draft class.

Here is our prediction for the schedule

The rams have a fairly lenient schedule and should win their first two games with S. Dakota State’s starting QB out and Vanderbilt, where the Rams currently are a -10 point favorite. Iowa and Toledo on the road most likely will be losses on the schedule.

This number is at 5 wins at a lot of sportsbooks but you can find it on SuperBook at o4.5 wins which is a great value. If you can find it at 5 wins, just be sure it is not over -115.

Western Kentucky Over 5.5 Wins -105 on Fox Bet

The Hilltoppers led by HC Tyson Helton, younger brother of Clay Helton, are a sleeper to make some noise in Conference USA this year. OC Zach Kittley was brought over from Houston Baptist and will be in his first year as OC for WKU.

Transfer QB Bailey Zappe had a 15/1 TD to INT ratio last season with 1833 yards at Houston Baptist. He did this in only 4 games including a 33-35 loss against Tech Texas, in a game he had 567 yards and 4 TDs/0 INTs. Their top three targets are back offensively as well and HBU’s top three receivers transferred over as well.

They also added some transfers from Michigan & Nebraska on the offensive line. The defense is still going to struggle a bit but it will be improved from last season and they will have to win games in shootout fashion to hit 6 wins. They should be able to find 6 wins on their schedule as it is somewhat lenient in a week Conference USA.

Play this at 5.5 wins to -120 but no higher.

Old Dominion Under 4.5 Wins -105 on Fox Bet

I gave this one out in the CapWize Discord to our subscribers just 5 days ago at 4.5 and it is now 3.5. I honestly think FanDuel got lazy as this was the only book I could find 4.5 for about a week.

Unfortunately, this bet’s best value is gone. I gave it out in the CapWize Discord to our subscribers just 5 days ago at 4.5 and it is now 3.5. I think the Monarch’s win only 3 games this season.
