Here are our 8/28 Free Picks.
Georgia Tech is going to be lucky to score 13 in this one and this is due to a new head coach who has eliminated the triple option. A majority of the players on the roster were recruited to run this scheme and this will be a huge learning curve. Not to mention Clemson has one of the best defenses in the SEC and CFB as a whole.
Clemson also will most likely keep things vanilla with a huge match-up next week against A&M and this favors the under. At the same time, I wouldn’t be surprised if Clemson put up 50. I lean under here with the public heavy on the over as well.
Pick- Under 61
This went from 5 all the way to 7 points in some spots. This will not be an official play but a strong lean to Utah. Utah is the more talented team and has its two best offensive players back healthy. Tyler Huntley started the season as starting QB and lead the Utes to a 4-0 start before he broke his collarbone. Britain Covey also was banged up most of the year and is their best WR.
If this line gets to 7 I would stay away completely from Utah. At -6.5 I lean to the Utes and have this a 27-20 game. Lean under the total here as well.
Strong Lean- Utah -6.5
Today, we cover the Thursday games, UCLA vs Cincinnati, 8:50- Utah vs BYU, 15:20- Texas St. vs Texas A&M, and 19:42- Georgia Tech vs Clemson.
Red/Marlins (over 8.5)- Two bad pitchers on the bump tonight and should be about 11 runs scored in this one.
