Crushed it last year in the MLB, going up 28 units on the year.
Mets vs Nationals (under 6.5 runs)- Should be a brisk, windy day in DC (which typically does the under well). Not to mention 2 of the top pitchers are in action today with DeGrom and Scherzer on the bump. The f5 angle at under 3 runs isn’t a bad option either. These two teams have had more lower scoring games over the last 2 seasons than higher scoring games (under 7 runs vs over 7 runs). Go with the under in this one.
Astros vs Rays +1.5 (-145)– Blake Snell went 21-5 last year with a 1.89 ERA going up against Justin Verlander of the Astros. Snell also had a 1.27 ERA at home and in 2 starts against the Astros, only allowed 2 runs in 14.1 IP and 16 K’s. Runs should be at a premium in this one with two aces on the hill. I am expecting/hoping for a 3-4 win for the Astros, which would give us the win.

Purdue vs Tennessee -2- Tennessee has had two disappointing performances and both games they didn’t cover in the tournament. Teams with a 54% cover rate or lower against a team with a 55% cover rate or higher are 36-17-3 ATS since 2005 in the Sweet 16. I think this is the game they let loose and win big. They are the more talented team and we have to remember, Schofield didn’t play most of the last game against Iowa to foul trouble. Look for him to have a big game tonight
Texas Tech vs Michigan (under 125.5)- Unders are more common than not in the Sweet 16 (The under is 59-51-2 since 2005), and I like for both teams to keep a slow pace throughout the game. Both teams have faced a solid defense in a few games and this is what both teams bring to the court tonight. I think Michigan squeezes out a victory 64-60 and covers, but not as confident in that as I am in the under
